The Ardvorlich Estate is located along the south shores of Loch Earn, Perthshire, Scotland, approximately 70 miles from Glasgow.
The Abernethy Trust Hydro Scheme is a conventional 'run-of-river' scheme situated at Ardgour on the shores of Loch Linnhe on the West Coast of Scotland. It was developed by the Abernethy Trust in partnership with Gilkes Energy Ltd.
The Ardchattan Hydro Scheme is a conventional 'run-of-river' scheme on the Esragan River, Argyll. It was developed by Ardchattan Hydro Ltd in partnership with Gilkes Energy Ltd.
The Coniston Hydro Scheme is on Church Beck, draining the Furness Fells above Coniston, in the Lake District National Park.
Llyn Brianne is a lake in a remote mountain location to the north of Llandovery, Dyfed. It acts as a reservoir used for water supply. There are 62 million tonnes of water stored in Llyn Brianne which provides excellent potential for producing electricity.
